RESEARCH CENTERS
Western Mining Resource Center
The Western Mining Resource Center (WMRC) was established at the Colorado School of Mines through a grant from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) to address the research and training needs of western mining constituencies. The Center complements the research and outreach activities of the Office for Mine Safety and Health of NIOSH, as well as the training programs of the Department of Labor, Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA).
